Our website conforms to Level AA compliance as specified by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. All pages validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and use structured semantic markup and valid CSS.

keyboard shortcuts

All pages have a menu that is accessible by using the Tab key and are Tab indexed so each menu item follows the previous using the Tab key method.

The George Careers website has been designed for a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768.

If you would like to change the size of text in order to view it clearly on your screen please refer to the instructions below.

PC/ Internet Explorer 6

From the top menu bar, select View and point to Text size

PC/ Internet Explorer 7

From the menu bar underneath the search field, select Page and point to Text size

PC/ other browsers

Increase text size: Hold down the CTRL key and press +
Decrease text size: Hold down the CTRL key and press -

Mac / all browsers

Increase text size: Hold down the Command key and press +
Decrease text size: Hold down the Command key and press -

Text size can also be determined with your own stylesheet by configuring your browser settings appropriately. If you are using the Internet Explorer for Windows browser, select the 'Tools' menu, then 'Internet Options'. The 'Accessibility' tab has an option for selecting your own stylesheet to use. The 'Safari' browser for Apple Mac permits you to choose your own stylesheet by selecting 'Preferences' from the 'Safari' menu, selecting the 'Advanced' tab, and altering the 'Style Sheet' property.
