Hi. I'm Brad, Trading Project Manager for George where I've worked for over eight years.

When I first joined George I spent four years merchandising several areas within Childrenswear. Then I moved on to the Trading Development Department and since June 2007 I've been Trading Project Manager on the regional distribution network project.

In a nutshell, my job is to constantly improve the systems we use to support the the buying and merchandising functions by reducing the time and resource needed to carry out everyday tasks.

Within this, we think ahead to make sure systems are ready to handle the demands that will be made of them in the future.

As well as having a very analytical approach, you've to understand how all the departments work together at George, as well as knowing exactly what issues each of them face.

In my daily work I come into contact with lots of different departments so you get to feel really at the heart of things. There's real collaboration too with everyone helping each other out whenever they can.
