Graduate Fashion Week - your talent showcase
When we say we're committed to nurturing today's young, creative fashion innovators, we put our money where our mouth is through sponsorship of Graduate Fashion Week. Each June at Earls Court in London, GFW showcases the work of more than 1,000 fashion degree students from across the UK and overseas. It's a key date in the fashion calendar and a window onto the rising stars of the fashion world. Ending with a gala show and awards ceremony, GFW is a springboard for many talented designers to start their careers. An amazing opportunity, by George!
12-month Industry Placements - a head start
Whether you lean towards the creative or the commercial side of a design-led industry, here is an opportunity for you to put a lot into - and take a lot from - our business. If your degree course involves a 12-month Industry Placement after two years of study, we offer a number of paid student placements each year in such areas as: Buying; Design; Merchandising; Branch Merchandising; Garment Technology; Marketing to name a few.
Running from July each year and based at George Head Office in Lutterworth, a placement gives you not only valuable knowledge and experience, but also a challenging role making a real contribution to our business. You'll learn how our industry works, develop skills to thrive in a high octane business and find out if this is the right direction for you. Oh, and along the way you'll make some great contacts and have a great time!

George has recently been recognised with a top accolade in the National Council for Work Experience Awards 2013, taking the 'Best of the Best' title in a new category to mark the NCWE Award's 10th anniversary!
