2012 marks the next stage in the global development of George as we begin franchising in international markets. It's an incredibly exciting development for George and our Franchise partners. It will be the platform to consolidate the brand as the leading value fashion retailer in the world. Through the Walmart distribution network George will be able to ship product from seven international hubs directly to our franchise partners, maximising delivery efficiency while minimising lead times.

The George International store concept will deliver an exciting retail experience for our customers. Modern, stylish and fresh, our stores will offer an inspirational shopping environment for the whole family. We passionately believe that what George has to offer is both exciting and unique. Wherever our customers are in the world, they will always enjoy not only a great fashion range but also unbeatable value.

Although all our International stores will be designed by our appointed design agency in the UK, to ensure a consistent look and feel, we will be working closely with local design agencies to ensure that all cultural requirements are respected and fully met. We are due to open our first stores in March 2012 and in the first year, we are looking to open 16 stores and by year 5 we will trade in over 250 stores. It's going to be a great adventure!
