International

Although all our International stores will be designed by our appointed design agency in the UK, to ensure a consistent look and feel, we will be working closely with local design agencies to ensure that all cultural requirements are respected and fully met. We are due to open our first stores in March 2012 and in the first year, we are looking to open 16 stores and by year 5 we will trade in over 250 stores. It's going to be a great adventure!

In order to do this we need to have an in-depth understanding of our customer in the international markets to ensure that we give each individual country the right product mix. There are a number of roles within the team which are all very different and require a wide array of skills including commercial awareness, creativity and relationship management. As the function is so broad, we have to liaise with many teams across the business including Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers, Marketing, Retail and the Walmart teams. The Global Markets team has to be very fast paced and adapt quickly to changing trading conditions both from a UK as well as international perspective.
