Logistics/Supply Chain

Our Logistics/Supply Chain Team make sure that deliveries from manufacturers reach our Distribution Centres before being sent out to our stores to arrive on time and in perfect condition.

The team manages the flow of George products to ensure that it is delivered through the supply chain in the most cost effective and efficient way possible to ensure we have our product availability at all times for our customers in store. They also have to manage how much stock goes through our supply chain to make sure that we don't exceed the capacities of our Distribution Centres. The mix of skills you need include:

  • Numerical and Analytical skills
  • Commercial focus
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Organisational and administration skills
