There's a great deal to being a Buyer for George. We work with designers to pick the season's styles, strike the very best deals with manufacturers whilst keeping a close eye on what is happening on the high street to allow us to react quickly to trends within season. Above all, we need to understand absolutely everything about the George customer so we can be sure to give them the styles they'll love.

It's a Buyer's role to make sure that our stores have the clothes our customers can't resist at unbeatable prices. A passion for fashion and product as well as a keen eye for detail are essential. You've to be organised too, as it's a Buyer's responsibility to make sure that everything's ready to be delivered to the stores to hit the deadlines set by the business.
