Our Home Office is located at George House in Lutterworth, 30 minutes from Leicester City, in the East Midlands. Its role is to develop fantastic products, and to support all our stores and depots so we deliver to the most important people of all - the customers who shop in our stores.

It's a fast-paced, fun environment and one of the first things you'll notice walking into the building is that it's filled with colleagues united by one common goal - to deliver great products at unbeatable quality and value to the millions of customers who shop at George every week.
We have open plan offices, so no closed doors - this helps us to work together as a team to deliver for our stores and to succeed in our aim to make stylish fashions and essential wear affordable to everyone.
moving forward
In March 2009 we moved into our brand new offices. The purpose built facility is 84,444 square feet, that's as big as 30 tennis courts! It provides an improved working environment for George House colleagues. The new building houses facilities to meet the needs of colleagues and the business, from concept areas for product development and a large mock shop area for whole range planning, to a colleague café, tuck shop and shower facilities. social life
Not only do we work together as a team, we get together outside of work too. We organise team nights out to maintain the team spirit and regularly socialise at company events, such as the Christmas Party and our Summer Ball.
Our netball team plays once a week, as does our five-a-side football team - the back to back league champions. If you're feeling energetic, both teams are always looking for new players to join them. Whilst if you want to pit your wits against the competition, you could represent George and ASDA at the UK corporate games in sports that range from tennis and golf to running and ten pin bowling.
If drama is more to your liking, you can also get involved with colleagues who help out on stage and behind the scenes at two theatre groups. Whatever your interests, we're always interested in setting up a new club, team or group.
